In 2013, Igor Zhuk came across a Bible school in Philadelphia and proposed the idea to the local church's leadership. The concept took root, leading to the birth of the Slavic Teen Bible School in the summer of 2014, founded by the Slavic Pentecostal Church. Over the course of a decade, the school underwent numerous refinements aimed at enhancing its effectiveness. In 2017, the school's name was officially changed to the Summer Teen Bible School.

David Bushmich assumed a new role in 2017, responsible for leading the prayer ministry in STBS. He led prayers after lunch and provided counseling to students in need, further enriching the school's supportive environment.

Tovia Zichenko served as a missionary Pastor for many years in Russia, bringing tremendous experience working with people from different walks of life. He provides a practical point of view for STBS and has been an enormous blessing to the organization. Tovia was added to the school board in 2021, followed by Alex Sidorevich in 2022. Alex Sidorevich, a recently ordained deacon, injects youthful vitality and innovative ideas into STBS, fostering an environment of dynamic growth.

The school's core mission is to assist teenagers in understanding Scriptures and strengthening Christian principles, fostering a personal relationship with God, nurturing spiritual growth among students, and encouraging them to lead victorious lives rooted in faith.
